Part of the work of The Kaufman Fund is to bring together individuals and organizations that share our philosophy of assisting veterans and active-duty personnel, whether it is through hiring, discounts, businesses owned by veterans or services directed to these individuals.
The VetNet Connect networking meeting was created by The Kaufman Fund and its board members as an opportunity for these partner organization to come together on an ongoing basis to share what they do, to better coordinate the combined efforts in accomplishing their goals. All organization with a similar focus on our veterans will be welcome to promote their events and activities as well.
Our meetings are on the Third Friday of each month with the meeting starting precisely at 8:30 am and ending at 10:00. We meet at the American Legion Post 394 – 934 Rue de la Banque, St. Louis, MO 63141.
The Ralph Kaufman Memorial Golf Tournament has been the organization’s main fundraiser for over 30 years. The support of our golfers, dinner auction, guests and individual/corporate sponsors has helped us raise well over 2 million dollars to support local Veterans' charities.
The tournament is a four-person scramble held annually in the summer. The tournament begins with lunch followed by golf and concludes with a wine tasting, open bar and dinner auction. Beautiful Whitmoor Country Club has hosted the tournament since 2014.
The Golf Tournament will be held on July 21st, 2025.
Since 2017, The Kaufman Fund has hosted a Casino Night fundraiser. The event features Blackjack, Craps, Roulette as well as a separate Texas Hold’em Poker Tournament. The event is one price “all inclusive” with food, beverage, entertainment, gambling money and auction rolled into the ticket price.
