WAYNE KAUFMAN
Wayne has been in the home improvement industry for more than 48 years. He is a Certified Remodeler, credentialed by the National Association of the Remodeling Industry (NARI), and a current board member of Rebuilding Together St Louis, the 1904 World’s Fair Charitable Foundation, the North West (St. Louis) Chamber of Commerce, and former board member of Old Newsboys (St. Louis.) He is also the incumbent chairman of VetNet, the Saint Louis Ambassadors’ Veterans Affairs, and president of The Kaufman Fund. Wayne was also honored as a recipient of the 2015 “Unsung Heroes” Award from the St. Louis Jewish Light. His past contributions to the community include the following former presidencies: the St Louis Remodeling Association, NARI Board of Directors, Rotary Club of Ferguson, Mo, Asthma and Allergy Foundation of St Louis, and past chairman of the Old Newsboys’ Ralph Kaufman Memorial Golf Tournament. Wayne served in the United States Army for 3 years during the Vietnam War. He attained the rank of sergeant in the 25th Infantry Division and was awarded both the Bronze Star Medal and the Bronze Oak Leaf Cluster.
