The Kaufman Fund Dental Program

The Kaufman Fund Dental Referral Program was established to help low-income Veterans who have significant dental needs but do not qualify for VA dental benefits. Currently, to qualify for VA dental benefits, a Veteran must have a 100% service-connected disability, have been a prisoner of war, or developed a dental condition during service. Most low-income Veterans who have dental needs do not meet these qualifications.

The Kaufman Fund Dental Referral Program works with a group of volunteer dentists and the ATSU-Missouri School of Dentistry & Oral Health to refer and coordinate dental care for these Veterans.

We are always in need of volunteer dentists to support our local Veterans who require dental assistance. We only ask that a dentist "help one Veteran a year"  with their dental issues. The treatment they receive is often life changing to the Veteran.

If you would like to be a volunteer dentist, please contact: Steve Rosenblum steve@thekaufmanfund.org for more information or to sign up to be on our team.

If you are a Veteran in need of dental care, with limited income, and do not otherwise qualify for VA dental benefits, please contact us at: steve@thekaufmanfund.org or dentalreferral@thekaufmanfund.org. If you do not have email capability, you may call 314-265-6263 or 314-365-3798.

Please provide the following information in the email or phone call:

  • Name
  • Contact phone number
